A core tenet of Scouting is citizenship in the community, and Scouts in West Linn are dedicated to giving back. Here are just a few examples of how our Scouts make a positive impact:
- Scouting for Food: The first Saturday of March, our Scouts help collect food for the West Linn food bank to help provide for local families in need.
- Service Projects: From building benches to restoring trails, Scouts take on meaningful service projects that benefit schools, parks, and public areas throughout West Linn.
- Flags along Willamette Falls Drive: Every holiday, scouts from Troop 396 put out American Flags along Willamette Falls Drive to help promote patriotism in our city.
Through these efforts and many more, Scouts are living the values of service and citizenship every day in our community.
